We offer 3 different wine tours -- each one visits local boutique wineries that proudly serve their selection of award-winning wines. We will pick you up in scenic Greenville or Asheville, and be your designated driver for a beautiful day.

The Blue Ridge Wine Tour
The Blue Ridge Wine Tour takes you to 3 delightful wineries in the heart of apple country near Asheville. The first winery features a casual, country-style tasting room; the second offers a hint of sophistication and the third has spectacular mountain views. This tour leaves every Saturday from Westgate Shopping Center in Asheville (next to Earth Fare) at 10:30 AM and The Visitor’s Center at 201 South Main in Hendersonville at 11:15 AM. Your $69.00 per person includes the fascinating history of wine in North Carolina and all transportation to 3 wineries. Guests can purchase wine samples, cheese boards, or a lovely glass of wine of their choice. Wonderful food trucks are available at two of the wineries with restaurant service at a third. We arrive back in Asheville at 4 PM.

A Taste of Wine and Apples
Extra Bonus: In September and October, at the height of the harvest, we will be stopping by an Apple Farm Stand where apple donuts, apple fritters, apple turnovers, apple everything may be purchased. Did you know that 85% of all the apples grown in NC are grown in the vicinity of the wineries?

Vino Al Fresco Tour
Three boutique wineries nestled in North Carolina Horse Country await you. Three wineries, three styles, and the ambiance of three different tasting rooms. Award-winning wines are poured at each location, and often the winemakers will be available to talk to you about their wines. All tasting fees are included. The Crest Wine Tour
Private charter tours of 6 or more persons to two or three wineries are also available to our American Viticultural Area, The Crest of the Blue Ridge. A tour that includes a visit to two wineries followed by a stop at the impressive Sierra Nevada Brewing Company or Bold Rock Cidery--"Grapes, Hops & Cheers!"--is also available. Cider Tour
Cideries have opened in the Apple Country capital of North Carolina. 85% of all the apples grown in NC are grown within 25 miles of Asheville. Come and taste the wonderful ales that two of those cideries are producing. Call us for more information. Charter and Specialty Tours
Charter Winery Tours for Hotels, Meeting Planners, Groups, and Individuals—custom-designed tours to selected regional wineries created to conform to time and passenger needs. Prices are based on time, the number of wineries, and the amenities provided. Tours may feature cheese service, lunch, or appetizers, and all tasting room fees. Limousine service can also be provided. Tours will depart from and return to locations requested. Bachelorette Party Tours
Available directly to brides, bridesmaids, or through wedding planners and hotels, the bride or a member of her bridal party will specify which wineries she would like to visit. The timing of the tour is based on the needs of the bridal party, and the tour may finish at a restaurant of your choice. These tours include door-to-door transportation and tasting room fees and can be customized to include a food, and bridal party gifts. Party size may range from 5 to 20. Membership in the French Broad Vignerons
The Trolley Company is a member of the French Broad Vignerons. The French Broad Vignerons is a non-profit organization that promotes viticulture as a tool for economic development in the region of Western North Carolina. Their mission is to help develop the viticulture industry through promotion of grape growing, wine/cider/mead making, and training in the art of wine evaluation.

For groups seeking a polished wine experience, author Chuck Blethen is highly recommended. He is the owner of Jewel of the Blue Ridge Vineyard, a leader with the French Broad Vignerons, and a two-time Distinguished Toastmaster. A TED Talk presenter, he delivers engaging, informative wine presentations.
Global Wine Expertise
Mr. Blethen has visited hundreds of wineries on seven continents over the last 40 years and has traveled many times to Australia to work with the winemakers in Hunter Valley. He has served as a consultant to Fortune 500 corporate executives and their spouses on wine etiquette and entertaining with wine. Mr. Blethen has authored several books including “Entertaining with Wine” published in June 2019. He has traveled around the world as an enrichment lecturer for many cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, B&O, and Princess.
